Our next dance is Friday, May 22nd. Wilma Layug is teaching Salsa starting at 7PM. The theme is Mexican if you want to dress up. Music will be provided by French Connection from 8PM until 11PM.
Thanks for all the positive comments about “Cool Shoes,” the dance team from Oregon State University, who performed at our April 24th dance. We certainly enjoyed their high-energy dance routines and colorful costumes.
Due to technical difficulties the Dance Club of Olympia website has been temporarily offline and unavailable. Sorry for any confusion that’s caused. Things are back to normal now and updates should follow shortly.
Last night was our April dance. To give you an idea about what the music was like, we have included a video clip. This event was part of ArtsWalk in Olympia. The proceeds from this dance went into a fund for sponsoring ballroom lessons for young people.
